先進運転支援システム（ADAS）アプリケーションのための
MIPI A-PHY準拠カメラソリューションを自動車メーカーに提供

　 

両社はAutoSens Detroitにて共同でA-PHYソリューションのデモを公開します。カリフォルニア州サンタクララおよびイスラエル、ホド ハシャロン、2022年5月9日 – 半導体ソリューション、高度デジタルイメージング、アナログ、およびタッチ&ディスプレイテクノロジーの代表的なグローバル開発企業OMNIVISION社と、自動車及びオーディオ・ビデオ市場に高速コネクティビティソリューションを提供する大手のValens Semiconductor (ニューヨーク証券取引所：VLN) は、自動車向けパートナーMIPI A-PHY準拠カメラソリューションを市場に投入するためにパートナーシップを締結しました。両社は、OMNIVISION社のAutomotive Reference Design System(ARDS)カメラモジュール内にValens Semiconductor社の新しいVA7000A-PHY準拠チップセットを搭載します。また、初期のカメラモジュールはOMNIVISIONのOX08B40イメージセンサが搭載される予定です。

　 

A-PHY (高速車載コネクティビティの規格) は2020年後半のMIPI Allianceによるリリース以来、業界内で強い後押しを受けています。2021年に、IEEE規格協会は自身の規格の1つとしてA-PHYを全体的に採用しました。OMNIVISIONなどの自動車用のTier1とTier2テクノロジープロバイダーは、彼らの先進運転支援システム（ADAS） アプリケーションにA-PHYソリューションを採用するよう取り組んできました。Valens SemiconductorはA-PHY準拠のチップセットを販売する最初の企業であり、2021年12月にVA7000製品ファミリーのサンプルの出荷を開始しました。
